HEAL Palestine Aid Programs

HEAL Palestine coordinates all aid into Gaza through established humanitarian pathways, including United Nations agencies and other recognized international mechanisms, and through the approval of the Israeli authorities in accordance with all applicable guidelines. We navigate these processes because the people of Gaza depend on it and because getting help to those who need it most is the foundation of everything we do.

What is our

Aid Pillar

Delivering aid in Gaza requires courage and constant adaptation. With damaged roads, restricted crossings, and mass displacement, getting supplies to families is extraordinarily difficult. Yet HEAL’s team and local partners continue to navigate these constraints to deliver food, clean water, baby formula, medical supplies, shelter materials, and other essentials where they are needed most.

Our community kitchens prepare warm meals for families who have gone days without food. Our bakery produces fresh bread where flour and fuel are scarce. Water projects bring clean drinking water to thousands each day, and emergency distributions provide hygiene kits, clothing, blankets, and shelter support to families who have lost everything.

In a place where need is overwhelming and access is fragile, HEAL’s aid work helps families get through today with safety, dignity, and hope.

Donate to HEAL Palestine Aid Programs

Every donation is a step toward HEALing and empowering the children of Gaza. Thank you for supporting our mission!
Your donation will be applied to program support for the specific campaign you have chosen, with priority given to its most urgent needs. If contributions exceed what this campaign can responsibly use, or if circumstances change, HEAL Palestine will direct the remaining funds to our four core pillars—Health, Education, Aid, and Leadership—to ensure support reaches families from Gaza where it is most needed. We will keep our community informed with regular updates on our work in the field.

HEAL Palestine delivers a wide range of humanitarian aid to people in Gaza, including food packages, clean water, medicine, medical equipment such as wheelchairs and mobility aids, shelter materials, clothing, hygiene supplies, and other essential items. We continuously assess the most urgent needs on the ground and adapt our aid accordingly to ensure we are meeting the greatest needs at any given time.

HEAL Palestine has its own dedicated team of aid workers on the ground in Gaza who work tirelessly to ensure that aid reaches the most vulnerable people, with a particular focus on children, based on assessed need and urgency. We distribute aid directly to individuals and families — never to governments, political parties, or armed groups. Our approach is people-first, non-partisan, and grounded in humanitarian principles. When distributing aid, we make it clear that we coordinate with UN agencies and use the Logistics Cluster distribution lists alongside our own ground-level lists to ensure we reach as many people as possible.

Aid is allocated based on a needs assessment conducted by our field team. Priority is given to the most vulnerable individuals — including orphaned children, amputees, displaced families, the elderly, and those with medical conditions. Our field workers document each case to ensure aid is distributed fairly and reaches those in the greatest need.

HEAL Palestine is committed to full transparency. We publish regular impact reports, share field updates and photos from our team on the ground, conduct webinars and interact with our donors, maintain strict financial controls, and work with independent financial oversight partners to ensure all funds are properly managed and reported. Every dollar donated is tracked and reported, and we are proud that the vast majority of funds go directly to program delivery.

Operating in an active conflict zone is extraordinarily challenging. Our team navigates significant logistical, security, and bureaucratic obstacles every day. We work within established humanitarian frameworks and coordinate closely with international agencies to maintain access. There are times when aid is delayed or disrupted due to conditions on the ground, and we communicate openly with our supporters when that happens.

Yes. HEAL Palestine collaborates with UN agencies, international NGOs, local partner organizations, and community leaders to maximize the reach and effectiveness of our aid. We believe coordination is essential to avoiding duplication and ensuring that the right aid gets to the right people at the right time. All partner organizations are subject to OFAC compliance screening before any formal engagement or resource sharing.

When aid shipments are delayed or blocked, our team works through alternative channels and escalates through our humanitarian network to find solutions. In cases where aid cannot be delivered, donations are redirected to the next most urgent need. We never hold funds unnecessarily and always communicate delays transparently to our donors.

Accountability and integrity are central to everything we do. Our field team verifies recipients, documents distributions, and reports back to our management team. We do not route aid through any government body, political entity, or armed group. All distributions are subject to internal audit and oversight. As a U.S.-registered nonprofit, HEAL Palestine is committed to compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Prior to any engagement or transfer of resources, all partners, vendors, contractors, and distribution channels are screened against the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions list, UN sanctions lists, EU consolidated lists, and other relevant global and country watchlists, to ensure no resources reach designated individuals or entities.

OFAC — the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control — administers and enforces economic and trade sanctions programs. As a U.S.-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, HEAL Palestine is legally required to comply with all OFAC regulations. In practice, this means we screen every partner organization, vendor, contractor, and institutional beneficiary against OFAC sanctions lists before entering into any agreement or transferring any resources. We maintain documented compliance procedures and conduct regular reviews to ensure ongoing adherence. This commitment protects our donors, our partners, and the integrity of our humanitarian mission.

We are committed to not just emergency relief but also longer-term recovery. Alongside immediate aid, HEAL Palestine invests in education, healthcare infrastructure, and leadership development so that communities in Gaza can rebuild with dignity. Our goal is not dependency but resilience.

NOURISHING HOPE, RESTORING LIVES

Our two community kitchens in Gaza and our fresh bread bakery provided nutrition to thousands of families facing hunger, while our aid trucks delivered life-saving food to hundreds of thousands in north and south Gaza. Beyond food security, we provided shelters to house and protect thousands of displaced individuals, offering them a safe haven amid turmoil. These efforts, alongside other critical forms of aid, have made a tangible impact on the ground, alleviating suffering and reinforcing hope in some of the most challenging circumstances.

Aid Initiatives

During Ramadan, HEAL Palestine delivers 18,000 nutritious iftar meals daily in North Gaza, where food insecurity remains severe and humanitarian access is limited. Serving families and nearby camps, our meals are carefully prepared to provide balanced nutrition, including proteins, carbohydrates, and essential vitamins, at a time when nourishment is urgently needed.

With thousands of homes destroyed, HEAL Palestine is working to provide emergency shelters for displaced families. By constructing safe, weather-resistant shelters, we offer protection and stability to those who have lost everything, giving them a place to recover and rebuild their lives.

HEAL Palestine’s bakery provides fresh daily bread to families who have lost access to food and essential supplies. In a place where many bakeries have been destroyed or forced to close, ours remains one of the few operating, producing thousands of loaves each day for displaced families and shelters. The bakery also creates meaningful employment, including opportunities for single mothers who rely on this income to support their families. By turning flour into nourishment and work into dignity, the bakery offers both stability and hope for a community facing extraordinary hardship.

HEAL Palestine, in partnership with organizations like World Central Kitchen, has delivered over 1 million hot meals, benefiting tens of thousands of families across Gaza. By operating community kitchens, we ensure that displaced families receive warm, nutritious meals in a time when access to food is severely limited.

HEAL operates a fresh water desalination system that produces safe drinking water and delivers it directly to shelters, clinics, and displaced families. By purifying seawater and distributing it daily to communities with the greatest shortages, this program provides essential protection against dehydration and waterborne illness while supporting the health and dignity of families across Gaza.

HEAL provides displaced families with essential food parcels that include nutritious staples for daily survival along with dedicated support for infants through milk and baby formula. Our teams deliver these items directly to shelters and vulnerable communities, ensuring that children, babies, and elderly residents receive consistent and dignified access to the nutrition they need during the ongoing crisis.

Beyond food aid, HEAL Palestine distributes critical non-food items such as hygiene kits, blankets, clothing, and cooking essentials. These supplies help displaced families maintain dignity and survive the harsh conditions of displacement, providing them with basic necessities for daily life.
