Diploma Release Program Launches Second Cycle to Support Gaza Graduates

HEAL Palestine has launched the second cycle of the Diploma Release Program in partnership with Reach Education Fund, helping college students in Gaza overcome one of the final barriers standing between them and their future.
Across Gaza, many students have completed their university studies but are unable to receive their official diplomas because of outstanding tuition balances. Without these documents, graduates often cannot apply for jobs, continue higher education, or formally prove the qualifications they worked for years to earn.
Through this program, HEAL Palestine and Reach Education Fund help eligible students pay their outstanding balances, release their diplomas, and move forward with employment and higher education opportunities.
This second cycle will prioritize students with disabilities, amputees, and graduates in critical fields needed to help rebuild Gaza. These include areas of study that can support healthcare, education, infrastructure, community recovery, and long-term resilience.
For students in Gaza, a diploma is more than a certificate. It is proof that their education matters, even after displacement, loss, and war. It is a pathway to work, dignity, independence, and service to their communities.
The Diploma Release Program reflects HEAL Palestine’s broader Education Pillar, which supports children, students, and young adults at different stages of learning. From temporary learning spaces to university support, HEAL Palestine works to protect education as a foundation for recovery and rebuilding.
