HEAL Palestine Medical Center Serves 35,717 Patients in the Second Quarter of 2026

The HEAL Palestine Medical Center in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, continued providing essential healthcare services to families across southern Gaza throughout the second quarter of 2026.
According to the center’s quarterly visitor report, the medical center served 35,717 patients and beneficiaries, reflecting the continued demand for emergency care, outpatient treatment, pharmacy support, laboratory testing, vaccinations, wound care, and transport services amid Gaza’s ongoing healthcare crisis.
The largest number of patients came through the center’s outpatient clinics, which served 11,514 patients. The Emergency Department followed with 10,178 patients, while the pharmacy supported 9,432 patients and the laboratory served 3,202 patients.
The center also provided 859 dressing and wound care cases, 518 vaccination cases, and 14 transport and ambulance service cases during the quarter.
Within the outpatient clinics, internal medicine saw the highest number of visitors, serving 5,203 patients. The center also provided care for 2,102 pediatric patients, 2,098 obstetrics and gynecology patients, and 2,111 communicable disease cases.
These figures reflect the important role of the HEAL Palestine Medical Center as a frontline healthcare point for displaced families and communities in Al-Mawasi and surrounding areas. As Gaza’s healthcare system remains under severe pressure, the center continues to provide accessible, essential care to patients who need immediate and ongoing medical support.
Through emergency response, outpatient care, pharmacy access, laboratory services, vaccinations, wound care, and transport support, the HEAL Palestine Medical Center remains a key part of HEAL Palestine’s Health Pillar and its commitment to sustaining healthcare access in Gaza.
