HEAL Palestine Health Programs

What is our

Health Pillar

Health is at the center of HEAL Palestine’s mission. Gaza’s healthcare system has been decimated, with many hospitals damaged, under-resourced, or barely operational, leaving families without access to essential care. In this reality, our health work is both urgent and life preserving.

HEAL’s medical teams provide critical treatment through our field hospital, medical points, and emergency missions, ensuring children and families receive primary care, trauma services, maternal and child support, medications, and continued follow-up. Our mental health programs offer counseling and group support to help children cope with profound trauma, while the Global Healing Program connects injured children to advanced long-term care abroad.

In a place where the health system has been shattered, HEAL is helping families regain strength, dignity, and hope, one patient at a time.

Donate to HEAL Palestine Health Programs

Every donation is a step toward HEALing and empowering the children of Gaza. Thank you for supporting our mission!
Your donation will be applied to program support for the specific campaign you have chosen, with priority given to its most urgent needs. If contributions exceed what this campaign can responsibly use, or if circumstances change, HEAL Palestine will direct the remaining funds to our four core pillars—Health, Education, Aid, and Leadership—to ensure support reaches families from Gaza where it is most needed. We will keep our community informed with regular updates on our work in the field.

HEALING BODIES AND MINDS

Through our four pillars—healthcare, mental health, education, and humanitarian aid—HEAL Palestine addressed urgent needs while building pathways for long-term recovery and sustainability. From providing life-saving medical care to creating opportunities for education and resilience, our programs are designed to meet immediate challenges and lay the groundwork for a stronger future for Palestinian children. As the needs grow, we remain steadfast in expanding our efforts to support Gaza’s recovery and rebuilding.

Health Initiatives

HEAL operates two community clinics in northern and southern Gaza, providing free primary healthcare and essential medications to families who have lost access to reliable medical services. Each clinic includes a functioning pharmacy and a rotating team of doctors, nurses, and specialists who deliver everyday care, chronic disease management, and urgent treatment for displaced families. These clinics remain a lifeline for thousands who rely on consistent, accessible, and compassionate healthcare.

Global Healing is HEAL Palestine’s international medical initiative supporting injured children who cannot receive the care they need inside Gaza’s destroyed health system. The program now assists more than sixty children across the United States and Egypt, providing prosthetics, complex surgeries, rehabilitation services, and ongoing case management. While new US medical visas are currently on hold, the program continues to serve children already in care and is expanding treatment pathways in countries such as Italy, Spain, Mexico, and Canada, ensuring that every child receives long term medical and emotional support.

HEAL’s mental health programs respond to the severe psychological trauma facing children in Gaza, where prolonged violence has created an urgent need for safe and structured emotional support. Our teams provide individual and group therapy across Gaza and in Egypt, helping children process fear, loss, and displacement. We also invest in training mental health professionals who work with patients from Gaza, strengthening long term capacity and ensuring that young people receive reliable, culturally informed care during this unprecedented crisis.

The Kuwaiti and HEAL field hospital in Mawasi, Khan Younis delivers comprehensive medical services entirely free of charge at a time when Gaza’s health infrastructure remains devastated. The hospital provides round the clock care including ambulance response, emergency services, outpatient treatment, baby delivery, and full surgical operations. It continues to grow as a critical source of lifesaving support, ensuring that families have access to safe and dignified care when no other options remain.

HEAL has led medical missions that bring specialized teams into Gaza and the West Bank to deliver advanced care, surgical support, and professional training. These missions address urgent gaps in treatment while strengthening local medical capacity across multiple specialties. In recent years the program has expanded through new partnerships, including NICU and critical care training in East Jerusalem, along with coordinated missions inside Gaza and across Palestine. The initiative continues to scale in 2025, with teams operating throughout the year to treat patients and mentor clinicians.
