Building Stability Through Education: Supporting Displaced Tawjihi Students in Egypt

Seventy five displaced Palestinian Tawjihi students in Egypt recently took part in HEAL Palestine’s Smart Tawjihi workshop, a program designed to equip young people with practical skills that support both academic success and personal resilience during displacement.

For students preparing for the Tawjihi exams while living away from home, the challenges extend far beyond studying. Displacement disrupts routines, access to resources, and a sense of stability. Many students are navigating unfamiliar education systems, limited support networks, and the emotional toll of uncertainty, all while carrying the pressure of an exam that shapes their future.

The Smart Tawjihi workshop focused on building essential skills that students can immediately apply to their studies and daily lives. Participants gained hands on experience with digital tools for learning and organization, research techniques to improve academic performance, effective communication skills, and productivity strategies to manage time and stress. These tools help students study more efficiently while also strengthening confidence and independence.

At HEAL Palestine, education is not only about exams or certificates. It is a foundation for dignity, self belief, and long term opportunity. For young people navigating displacement, access to quality education becomes a pathway toward rebuilding stability and imagining a future shaped by choice rather than crisis.

Through our education pillar, HEAL Palestine continues to invest in knowledge as a form of protection and empowerment. By supporting students at critical moments in their academic journey, we help ensure that displacement does not define their potential or limit their aspirations.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who stands with Palestinian youth by supporting HEAL Palestine’s education programs. Your support helps transform uncertainty into possibility and gives young people the tools they need to move forward with confidence.
