HEAL Palestine’s Education Pillar continues to grow. This week, a second scholarship cohort of 50 students was launched in Gaza in collaboration with Axsos Academy, expanding access to structured, skills-based learning for youth.

To mark the start of the program, HEAL Palestine hosted the students for a welcome gathering, creating an opportunity to introduce the cohort and outline the path ahead. This moment reflects the beginning of a focused training period designed to equip participants with practical, applicable skills.

Over the next five months, students will receive hands-on training in technology, with a curriculum aimed at building competencies that can translate into both local and remote employment opportunities. In a context where traditional education pathways and job markets have been severely disrupted, this type of targeted training plays a critical role in preparing young people for alternative forms of work.

This initiative is part of a broader strategy under HEAL Palestine’s Education Pillar to move beyond basic access to learning and toward economic empowerment and long-term stability. By focusing on skills that are in demand globally, the program creates pathways for students to generate income, support their families, and build independent futures.

The launch of this second cohort reflects both the success of the initial phase and the growing demand for programs that connect education with real-world opportunities. As the program continues to expand, HEAL Palestine remains committed to investing in Gaza’s youth as a key component of long-term recovery and resilience.
