This week, HEAL Palestine distributed learning kits to 130 children at Fusool Al-Noor School in Deir al Balah, supporting students between the ages of 6 and 9 years old with essential educational supplies.

The distribution is part of HEAL Palestine’s broader Education Pillar, which focuses on helping children maintain access to learning despite prolonged displacement, instability, and disruption to formal education systems.

For many children in Gaza, attending school has become increasingly difficult. Repeated displacement, damaged infrastructure, and limited access to supplies continue to create barriers to education. In this context, basic items such as notebooks, pens, and learning materials become essential tools for continuity and participation.

Each kit distributed through this initiative was intended to help students engage more consistently with their education and reduce some of the practical challenges families face in supporting school attendance.

The effort also reflects the importance of maintaining structured learning environments for children during prolonged crises. Access to education contributes not only to academic development, but also to routine, stability, and long-term resilience.

Through partnerships with schools and continued donor support, HEAL Palestine continues investing in educational access as part of a broader approach to child well-being and future opportunity in Gaza.
