Mohammed Jamal is an agricultural engineer whose life and career were disrupted when he was forced to relocate from Gaza to Egypt. Despite his education and professional background, he struggled to find work in his field after displacement, facing limited opportunities and growing uncertainty about his future.

Through the HEAL × Axsos Academy Tech Scholarship Program, Mohammed was accepted into a fully sponsored bootcamp designed to equip students with in demand technical skills and direct pathways into the workforce. During the program, he gained hands on experience in full stack development, learning how to build and manage digital solutions alongside strengthening his problem solving and technical foundation.

Through Axsos Academy’s professional network, Mohammed was connected with Flowless, an agri tech startup that aligned closely with his background. By combining his agricultural engineering expertise with his new skills as a full stack engineer, Mohammed is now earning an income and building a new career at the intersection of agriculture and technology.

Today, Mohammed works as a full stack engineer, contributing to innovative agri tech solutions while continuing to grow his technical expertise. His journey reflects how targeted education and workforce focused training can unlock new opportunities for displaced professionals.
