When bombs fell across Gaza, schools were among the first casualties. Classrooms were reduced to rubble. Blackboards turned to dust. Books, desks, and safe places to learn vanished overnight. For thousands of children, education did not simply pause—it collapsed entirely.

An entire generation watched their future slip further out of reach. But education does not end when buildings fall.

Education Amid Crisis: A Lifeline for Gaza’s Children

Through its Education Support Program, HEAL Palestine is restoring access to learning through Temporary Learning Spaces (TLS)—safe, structured environments where children can reconnect with education, routine, and hope.

Today, more than 2,000 children across five Temporary Learning Spaces are once again holding pencils, opening notebooks, and sitting with teachers who are determined to keep learning alive. Over 40 teachers have been equipped with the tools and supplies they need to teach, guide, and support students in the most challenging conditions imaginable.

These spaces are not just classrooms. They are sanctuaries of stability in a world defined by uncertainty.
