TLS Support Project: Learning Kits Reach 130 Children at Sama School in Al-Mawasi
HEAL Palestine delivered school supplies and learning kits to 130 children at Sama School in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, as part of our TLS Support Project.
Each child received a learning kit filled with stationery and educational toys, helping students participate in classroom activities with the basic tools they need to learn, write, create, and stay engaged.
The project also supported the school’s teachers and learning environment. Five teachers received essential supplies, while the school was equipped with whiteboards and activity materials to help create a safer, more structured, and more interactive space for students.
For children in Gaza, education has been severely disrupted by displacement, destruction, and the loss of safe learning spaces. Temporary Learning Spaces are essential because they help children return to routine, reconnect with teachers and classmates, and continue learning despite the conditions around them.
Through the TLS Support Project, HEAL Palestine is helping schools in Gaza provide children with more than materials. These kits and classroom tools help restore dignity, focus, creativity, and a sense of normalcy in a time of deep uncertainty.
This effort is part of HEAL Palestine’s Education Pillar, which works to protect access to learning for displaced and war-affected children across Gaza.
By supporting students, teachers, and classrooms together, HEAL Palestine is helping create learning spaces where children can feel seen, supported, and ready to build their futures.
