Kuwait Specialty Field Hospital Serves 158,992 Patients in the Third Quarter of 2026

The Kuwait Specialty Field Hospital, operated in partnership with HEAL Palestine in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, served 158,992 patients and beneficiaries during the third quarter of 2026, covering July, August, and September.
According to the hospital’s quarterly report, outpatient clinics received the largest share of patients with 70,628 visits over the three months. Emergency and reception services followed with 29,606 patients, while the pharmacy supported 19,904 patients and the laboratory served 17,405 patients.
The hospital also continued providing specialized and urgent services throughout the quarter, including 7,343 pediatric emergency cases, 7,193 radiology patients, and 4,523 ambulance service cases. Surgical teams performed 1,603 operations, while the maternity department supported 525 normal and cesarean deliveries. The hospital recorded 262 endoscopy and gastroenterology procedures during the quarter.
Across the three months, the hospital averaged more than 53,000 patients per month, with monthly totals of 53,143 in July, 58,917 in August, and 46,932 in September. Outpatient demand remained the hospital’s largest and most consistent service area, accounting for more than 44% of all patients across the quarter.
These figures reflect the hospital’s continued role as a major medical lifeline for displaced families and communities in southern Gaza. As hospitals and clinics across the Strip remain under extreme pressure, the Kuwait Specialty Field Hospital continues to provide accessible care to tens of thousands of patients each quarter.
Through emergency response, outpatient treatment, surgery, maternity care, diagnostics, pharmacy access, ambulance services, and specialized departments, the hospital remains central to HEAL Palestine’s Health Pillar and its commitment to sustaining healthcare access for Palestinians in Gaza.
